Shipping Times

•	Most Credit approved orders placed before 12:00 PST will ship within 24 to 48 hours.
•	If you prefer to pay by check or money order, we're happy to accommodate you. Please note that we cannot ship your products until payment is received and verified. Product availability may be affected by this delay. Orders paid by check or money order will be released to our warehouse after payment has cleared the bank.

Shipping Alternate Address Other Then Your Billing Address

Compu-America will only ship to the billing address of your credit card. To ship to a secondary addres please contact your credit card company and have them note the alternate shipping address. This procedure will not affect your billing informaiton whatsoever, and will be automatically be deleted from your account within 24 hours. Our policy protects you, the consumer against credit card fraud, and only takes a moment of your time. Please pay notice that it is the customer's responsibility to follow our credit card policy regarding shipping addresses. By not following these procedures your order will be delayed in shipping

Do I have to pay tax?

•	Sales tax applies to those orders that are made within the state of California.

How much will my shipping cost?

Compu America reserves the right to ship via alternate carriers. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. Shipping rates are within continental USA only! We display international rates, but they may vary according to country. Alaska, Hawaii, APO-FPO address and International orders will be contacted with shipping rates. Shipping costs are based on the product weight. To find out how much shipping will cost you, find your item then continue through the checkout procedure and the weight will be calculated for you. • Shipping costs may vary according to weight of the item. We do ship via conventional methods for most items. Our oversized and fragile items are shipped with special handling and therefore prices are approximate.

What happens If I Refuse My Order?

•	If your order has been shipped and is refused by you at time of delivery, there will be a non-negotiable 15% restocking fee.

Do I have to pay the EWR Fee?

•	The Electronic Waste Recycling or EWR Fee requires the retailer to collect a fee when certain video display devices are sold to consumers, starting January 1, 2005. The money collected from the fee will help pay for the safe recycling of video display devices such as computer monitors and televisions, which contain hazardous materials
•	Fee must be collected on retail sale of a new or refurbished video display device that has a screen size of more than 4 inches measured diagonally. These are called "covered electronic devices" (CEDs). They include: (1) Televisions that contain cathode ray tubes. (2) Computer monitors that contain cathode ray tubes or use liquid crystal displays. (3) Laptop computers. (4) "Bare" cathode ray tubes or any other product that contains a cathode ray tube.
•	The fee ranges from $6.00 to $10.00 per CED sale. It is based upon the viewable size of the video display, measured diagonally. * Greater than 4 inches but less than 15 inches - $6 fee * Greater than or equal to 15 inches but less than 35 inches - $8 fee * Greater than or equal to 35 inches - $10 fee
•	The fee is not subject to Sales Tax.
